BLUES BOYS MODELS
Miniscule variations due to the slides being hand made. Variables during the glaze firing process means that the high
fired glazes (Blue, Green and White) will be smaller
and shorter than the low fired glazes (Red and Black).
A "Hybrid" guitar slide. Very popular with guitarists that have low action on their rigs, and want to play slide
without "bottoming out" or hitting the frets. Unlike most slides, these are designed to shine best in this situation,
and the bonus is that they are also designed for quick release (bend your finger to lock, straighten your finger out
to remove) and all the volume and tone you would not expect from a slide so light.

Second Series - "Salidan Models" The brightest sounding ceramic slide on the market today. Light and responsive, these slides have the growl when you want it, or a whisper like a cool breeze that'll make you cry! This model has the same inner diameter as the Blues Boy, but thicker walled to give greater presence and a warmer tone. These guitar slides all have Inner Diameters of 22-24mm. Standard models are 61-63mm in length, Middy models are 53-55mm, and Shorty models are 43-45mm.

Tight Fit - "Shavano Models" The Shavano model was designed for those sliders out there that wanted "a little tighter fit". The Shavano has a more traditional feel and for players with smaller fingers, long skinny fingers or are playing with your pinky, and want a tighter fit - this is the model for you!! Tonally, the Shavano is between the Blues Boy and the Salidan. These guitar slides all have Inner Diameters of 18-20mm. Standard models are 61-63mm in length, Middy models are 53-55mm, and Shorty models are 43-45mm.

Pinky Sizes - "Columbine Models" The Columbine Slide model is our smallest inner diameter and is designed for players that play with their pinkies and at 5/8", it will be snug. Tonally, the Columbine fits between the Blues Boy and the Shavano. These guitar slides all have Inner Diameters of 16-18mm. Standard models are 61-63mm in length, Middy models are 53-55mm, and Shorty models are 43-45mm.

Monarch Series - "Womens Models" For the first time - a slide designed with the woman player in mind. A thicker wall and nice fit for women's fingers. These guitar slides all have Inner Diameters of 17-19mm. Standard models are 61-63mm in length, Middy models are 53-55mm, and Shorty models are 43-45mm.

Raw Finish - "Scream and Growl!" This is the "Rawest" tones of any slide ever heard. "Raw" is a finish available in all ceramic slide models. These slides are twice High Fired and then put through a series of hand and wheel polishing that give them a beautiful "Pewter" finish. If you are looking for Sweet and Refined tones in these slides - FORGET IT - these are not the slides for you. But if you want Scream and Growl and a whole tonal pallet of Raunchy Nasty-ness to the bone here it is. This option is available in all slide models as listed below. LENGTHS IN THE RAW! Standard models - 79-81mm in length, Junior models - 65-67mm and Mini models - 51-53mm.

Hot Spike Series - "Solid Round Tonebar" The most straight forward tone bar from Rocky Mountain Slides. Simply, it’s a solid rounded bar of our clay composite material, with the ends slightly rounded as well. Then each tone bar is hand dipped half way in glaze. By glazing only the playing surface, the raw clay side gives you better grip and better control. And the Raw side goes through a final wheel polishing that leaves the clay with a beautiful “Pewter” finish. Like the Rail Rock-its, these too are available in the three lengths. Standard model is 79-81mm in length, Junior model is 65-67mm and the Mini model is 51-53mm.

Rail Rocket Series - "Palm Tonebars" The Rail Rocket is a more traditional Palm slide, or Tonebar. Nice weight and balance and will give tones like nothing else! It's as solid as the Rock Mountains that this clay comes from! This Standard model is 79-81mm in length, Junior model is 65-67mm and the Mini model is 51-53mm.

Bullet Series - "Bullet and Palm Tonebars" Rocky Mountain Slides have combined two styles into one unique Ceramic Palm Slide. This one gives the options of a bullet-end and, with the comfort of a rail style tone bar. Great for fast pull offs, and is the only ceramic palm slide on the market. The Standard model is 87mm in length and the Mini is 65mm.

Double Cut Series - "Double Cut Rail Rocket" By adjusting the end profile of the Rail Rockets it accomplishes two things: - Lowering the profile of the slide and giving it a more comfortable feel in the hand - And two, by adding a “Proto Bullet Nose” tip it gives you more options to work with.
