Owned and played by Jeff Martin ex THE TEA PARTY
on his new album Exile and the Kingdom "Black Snake Blues", "Lament" and "Good Times"
Adjustable bass sting from bas to baritone to standard scale lengths.
Use this unique set up of the 7th string for slide, extension of open tunings,
or as a drone string. Andrew has been working with Jeff for some time now, not
only on this guitar, but doing other odds and ends as well. The 7th string on this
guitar has evolved from looking into and researching harp guitars. The idea for the
7th string was influenced by Jeff's own vintage Gibson harp guitar.
The scale length can be changed easily and quickly bcecause the 7th string floats and
does not interfere with the frets causing intonation problems. As far as we can tell, this
is the only guitar of it's kind in the world.
