Fishman Ellipse VT™ System undersaddle transducer plus a multi featured PreAmp Fishman Ellipse™ VT System

The Ellipse™ VT combines Fishman's Acoustic Matrix™ undersaddle transducer with the active preamp in this Ellipse package. The onboard pre-amp features premium electronics, with Volume, Tone and Phase control. The unique tone control range from natural undersaddle sound to the revered scooped mid sound. Ergonomically designed for installation inside the edge of the guitar's soundhole, the preamp provides easy fingertip control of volume and tone. A phase button helps fight feedback. The preamp features an ingenious no-drill magnetic mounting system and is nearly invisible when installed.

Preamp/EQ - Engineered to be clean and clear, the onboard preamp features premium electronics with Volume, Tone and Phase controls. The unique Tone control fanges from natural undersaddle sound to the revered scooped-mid sound, just by moving a slider. And the Ellipse VT gives your sound that extra depth without the need for major modification to your instrument. In fact, the Ellipse VT is designed so that it is nearly invisible once installed, so that you and your guitar take center stage.

Acoustic Matrix Pickup - The Ellipse VT includes the Fishman Acoustic Matrix undersaddle transducer pickup. The electronics in the Ellipse VT preamp allow you to select either the Natural I or Natural II eq curve with a flip of a switch. The Ellipse VT is available with either the Narrow (.094", 3/32", 2.3mm) or Wide (.125", 1/8", 3.2mm) version of the Matrix pickup.

Flexible gooseneck condenser microphone and volume, blend and phase controls, the Ellipse Matrix Blend makes it possible to have the best of both worlds when you play: the sparkling, transparent sound and control that the Acoustic Matrix pickup affords, complemented by the unique and expressive character that only a microphone can provide.

Acoustic Matrix Pickup - The Ellipse Matrix Blend includes the Fishman Acoustic Matrix undersaddle transducer pickup. The Ellipse Matrix Blend is available with either the Narrow (.094", 2.3mm) or Wide (.125", 3.2mm) version of the Matrix pickup as well as a Split Saddle Version.

Fishman Ellipse Aura® - onboard preamp with Fishman's Aura® Acoustic Imaging Technology Fishman Ellipse Aura®

The Ellipse Aura® combines Fishman's most sophisticated onboard preamp design with the power of Aura® Acoustic Imaging Technology for exceptional accuracy and true to life sound. Up to 4 Images can be downloaded from the Aura Image Gallery software (included) via an onboard mini-USB port to match the instrument's natural tonal characteristics. The Ellipse Aura features Pickup/Image Blend, Volume and switchable Natural I and Natural II low frequency tone shaping. A Phase Switch and automatic Anti-Feedback device control feedback. The pickup's ergonomic soundhole-mounted design puts slider controls at the player's fingertips to maintain a natural playing position. A patented neodymium magnetic mounting system enables easy, solder-free installation with a variety of size formats that accommodate most round soundholes from 3 7/8' (98mm) to 4 1/8' (105mm) in diameter. Equipped with a Low Battery indicator, the Ellipse Aura includes a no-hassle, solder-free Acoustic Matrix undersaddle pickup in narrow, wide, or narrow/split formats.

Blend - Slider to adjust the balance between the pickup and the Image.

Phase - Phase switch to improve bass response at low volume and suppress feedback at high volume.

Volume - For the cleanest noise-free sound, set the volume as high as possible without causing your amp or mixer to distort.

Anti-Feedback - The Ellipse Aura is equipped with an automatic search-and-destroy notch filter.

Image Switch - Select one of the four Images you've uploaded from the Aura Gallery.

Voicing Switch - Selects how the pickup is voiced. Move the Voicing Switch to the left for bass boost and to the right for a flat response.
