BOTANY:	Prunus Species
SOURCE:	Central America
COLOURS:	It can vary from orange-ish to reddish tan in color with a light, open figure that adds some nice depth under finish.
CHARACTER:	Figure is not really a typical curl or quilt pattern. 2nd grade sets have a few very thin, isolated black lines that run along the grain.
COMPARES:	Mahogany
TONE:	Tonally it is compared to other medium-density woods like Walnut and Maple, though some compare it with Mahogany. Expect an open quality with nice separation and clear trebles and good presence in the mid-range.
