Twin SoundSpot™ Classic
SoundSpots are ultra-sensitive transducer pickups suitable for stringed and non-stringed acoustic and ethnic instruments.
Unlike other “dot-type” transducer pickups, each SoundSpot™ is hand ground to extremely fine tolerances. This process,
along with the selection of materials, renders a pickup with a very thin surface that also maintains its strength and
flexibility. The result is a transducer that is ultra-sensitive to an instrument’s surface vibrations and, therefore,
is extremely natural and warm sounding.

Applying The Pickup
The pickups are adhered near the bridge with double-sided adhesive tape, with the metal side facing the instrument’s top.
The cables between the pickup and jack should be secured with tape to avoid rattling.
Jack
The 1/4" jack is fixed above the strap button with a dual-lock hook-and-loop strip.
Usage Tips
This pickup was developed to produce a soft, natural tone with medium volume. It’s designed to work with all bass
amplifiers.
If you want increased volume, try a preamp with an extremely high input impedance (greater than 5 Megohms).
For P.A. and recording applications, a high-quality direct box such as as the
D-TAR Solstice or Equinox is suggested.
